Volunteer Onboarding Course
This six-day microlearning course informed and engaged new members of a nonprofit design collective that creates learning experiences about equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism.
Project Description
In summer 2020, Bridget volunteered for DESIGNxHUMANITY, a nonprofit instructional design collective that creates learning experiences advocating for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC). She worked with a team of designers to create a text-based volunteer onboarding course for the organization. The course delivered information in a drip-feed format via daily text messages. Lessons were designed to help learners acclimate to the organization’s values, mission, culture, and roles.
